Based on numerous consumer reviews, the answer is likely yes. These are attractively priced, but constant issues with durability and longevity seem to follow the brand.
Accordingly, it may make sense to buy one if the budget is too low to buy a better product. An Ashley mattress may hold up okay for a year or so, but it does not seem wise to expect it to do much more than that.
Alternatively, you may want to go this route for placement in a guestroom, cottage, cabin, or RV where the bed is seldom used.

Like most companies, there are good and bad products and since more than 30,000 customers say that this model is good it is hard for me to argue, but I am working on it haha.

Got a really small budget? If so, then an Ashley Sleep mattress may be for you. It’ll hold up all right for a year or two, during which time you could be saving for a better brand.

They may come with 10-year warranties, but don’t count on these mattresses to last that long.
Con 5: Sagging
Many customers report that their Ashley Sleep mattress begins to sag within a surprisingly short time. If you have back issues, this definitely won’t help.

These mattresses may feel either too soft or too hard without ever hitting that Goldilocks zone of just right.

It’s doubtful that any of these models a good investment in better sleep. They may work for a short time, but it seems unlikely it will last.

The 10-Inch Hybrid Queen Mattress in a Box
For the purposes of our review, we’ll be comparing queen size to queen size, since this is a perennially popular choice.
The 10-inch hybrid Ashley Sleep is available in twin, full, queen, and king sizes. A foundation or box spring is required and is delivered via UPS or FedEx for free.

The company boasts that this hybrid gives you “the best of both worlds” with gel-infused memory foam that not only keeps you cool but also helps to relieve pressure in addition to body-contouring pocketed coils.
The coils are what provides the necessary support.
Ashley describes this 10-inch hybrid as providing medium comfort, which means that it straddles the line between being soft and firm.
The high-density gel memory foam is designed to give you lumbar support and there’s also a layer of high-density quilt foam for extra softness and comfort.
Ashley touts its “individual power packed wrapped coils” and the two rows of coils on the perimeter that are made with 13-gauge wire and measure nine inches in length.
These perimeter coils are designed to provide better edge-to-edge support, which can be important for people who sleep on the edge of the bed.
TIP: Good edge support also is critical for people who have mobility issues or who may need a little assistance getting into and out of bed.
Ashley notes that this mattress is manufactured with hypoallergenic materials that won’t cause allergies. Materials include polyester, acrylic, filament poly, para-aramid fiber, and viscose.
Each comes with a 10-year warranty. However, it’s worth noting that if you buy a foundation or box spring from another brand, this warranty may be voided.
These are designed to be no-flip, making them easier to care for.
The 12-Inch Hybrid Queen Mattress in a Box
This slightly thicker hybrid mattress comes with a slightly higher price tag.
Still, both options are really affordable when compared with most of their competition, and the minor price difference between the 10-inch and 12-inch models may make it worthwhile to splurge.

You still get free shipping via FedEx or UPS, but now your comfort level is ultra plush. This may be a bit too soft, or even way too soft, for some people.
Like the 10-inch model, this one combines the support of coils with the comfort of foam.
This mattress has an extra layer of foam so that you have high-density gel memory foam, high-density quilt foam, and upholstery-grade comfort foam.
The individually wrapped coils are similar to the other model, and there are two rows of perimeter coils to help stabilize the edges.
One of the main differences between the 12-inch and the 10-inch is that this upgraded mattress features CertiPur-US materials.
This should mean that it is made with high-quality materials that are natural and extremely unlikely to trigger your allergies.
