What is the Difference between Standard and Hybrid?
The main difference between regular and hybrids is that the regular is all foam, while the hybrid has individually-wrapped, pocket-coiled springs.
The added technology of the coiled springs in the hybrid models makes them more expensive than the standard models, and you can expect to pay an extra $200 for a hybrid one (source).
Other differences include added support with an added layer of resilient springs that provide extra support for backs, bellies, and side sleepers of all sizes.
Hundreds of individual pocket-coiled springs give the hybrid models extra lift and more bounce, leaving your body feeling elevated and light, rather than sinking into the mattress.
Additional coils add extra airflow and let body heat circulate out to keep you cool through the night. The added layer of sturdy springs is more durable and extends the lifespan.
